The Thought Behind

The Girls' Scholarship Programme (GSP) is a dedicated initiative aimed at empowering young girls by breaking barriers to education and self-reliance. By ensuring 10 years of uninterrupted schooling, providing opportunities for higher education, and equipping them with career options, GSP enables girls to make informed life decisions. The programme strives to create a future where every girl’s growth trajectory moves steadily upward.

    Our History

    Chakan’s industrial growth has brought economic prosperity, but not all social groups, particularly women and girls, have benefited equally. Education beyond elementary levels remains expensive and inaccessible, pushing girls into household responsibilities or early marriages. Recognizing these challenges, we initiated GSP in 2017, starting with 42 girls.
